Patek philippe Celestial – Ref. 5102 / 6102
The Patek Philippe Celestial Ref. 6102G is a highly complex astronomical wristwatch that displays the night sky as seen from the Northern Hemisphere, centered on Geneva.
It features a deep blue dial composed of three sapphire crystal discs that rotate at different speeds to accurately reproduce the motion of the heavens. The watch shows sidereal time, the positions of the stars, the phases and orbit of the moon, and a peripheral date indication.
At the heart of the watch is the self-winding Caliber 240 LU CL C, an ultra-thin mechanical movement equipped with a micro-rotor. The movement drives the astronomical displays through a patented system requiring extreme precision in gearing and assembly.
The case is crafted in 18k white gold and paired with a hand-stitched alligator leather strap. The Celestial is produced in very limited numbers and is regarded as one of Patek Philippe’s most poetic and technically demanding complications.
